Israel launched new Ofek 9 spy satellite

Last night, Israel launched "Ofek-9" (Horizon 9),

adding yet another spy satellite to Israel's intelligence arsenal.

"When we wish to examine targets, we need our own satellites to do the job," a senior defense official said. "The new satellite will enable us to perform frequent activity at higher resolution."

The satellite was launched from the Palmachim Air Force base in central Israel, in line with a pre-determined plan unrelated to recent developments, officials said.

The Defense Ministry issued an official statement, saying that the Ofek 9 satellite "was launched and successfully injected into orbit by means of a Shavit satellite launcher."

"In the next phase, the satellite will undergo several tests for validation of its serviceability and satisfactory performance," the statement said, noting that Ofek 9 is an "advanced technology remote sensing satellite."

Concept Pistol

Amazingly realistic computer modeled picture done by a friend of mine (EA) he has an unbelievable eye for detail, all pics are available in hi-res 3d! This picture is of a concept pistol that he created using a computer graphic program.

This is the guy that helps me with logos and custom pictures for my blog.

If you need any modeling done, I'd be happy to make the connection for you.

Unfortunately I won't get to test fire these beauties any time soon.

"Moses (Musa) :O my people, enter the holy land that God Has written for you, and do not turn your backs, or you will become losers."

The Quran also says that one day the Jews will return home to their land :

وقلنا من بعده لبني إسرءيل اسكنوا الأرض فإذا جاء وعد الاءخرة جئنا بكم لفيفا
And We said after him to the Children of Israel: "Dwell in the land, then, when the time of the second promise comes, We will bring you all together as a mixed crowd."

Jerusalem is not mentioned a single time in the Koran, nor is it even mentioned in the PLO Charter. Jews throughout the world pray facing Jerusalem; where all praying Muslims face Mecca. Jerusalem has NEVER been the capitol of any other nation except Israel, nor has it ever been holy to Muslims
