And what a pitiful military response it is, sending 450 troops to train Iraqi forces that we've already trained, and on whom we've spent tens of billions of dollars to equip. Why would anyone believe this feeble gesture would affect the outcome in Iraq? Or be a serious effort by the President to keep his oft-repeated promise that the United States would 'degrade and destroy the Islamic State."
