Sufganiyot, the traditional Israeli Chanuka holiday treat, are basically deep fried Jelly donuts and are rumored to be addictive.

According to Manufacturers’ Association of Israel (MAI) estimates, some 18 million sufganiyot are sold during Hanukkah for a total of NIS 50 million (USD 12 million).
